I'm finally healthy!
.
Status: healthy! The pulmonologist cleared me of any concerns two weeks ago, I’ve been exercising much more without issue, and I’m back to work full-time! We did it!
I’ve got big plans for lots of new writing, including an article about my first PRs in the Roslyn repo, AI usage on my new team, Microsoft Build announcements, and plenty of political updates if you’re into that sort of thing. You may have noticed I started notes on both Trump administrations and generative AI, along with a page specific to the current war in Iran. It’s a lot to keep up with, and the pages will quickly fall out of date, but I’m just so happy to be able to look at them and not get an immediate concussion headache, you know?
You may have also noticed I finally fixed the nasty rendering issue where browsers like Edge and Chrome zoomed out a lot on mobile without good reason. This is a bug in the browser that I was able to diagnose and workaround with the help of GenAI, and I’m building a backlog of case studies (both positive and negative) around AI usage in my notes.
But the top priority remains Mocha 12, which I aim to release this month. After that, the Luanti docs DSL will finally get some attention, and then I’ll prioritize remaining work for AHK++ to complete before the end of the year. Lots to do, lots to do, and so much excitement to get back to doing it!
I have plenty of plans beyond those 3 priorities, but realistically that Luanti work could take until the end of the year and beyond, so everything else remains a secret for now (unless you check Mark Wiemer’s work - GitHub)!
Once again, thank you all for your support and patience as I navigated that nasty 70-day triple illness. Here’s hoping it never happens again! 🤓
